High CPU LoadThe CPU load of our virtual amps is higher than that from other companies due to our very CPU intense core modelling algorithm (Machine Learning SW Inference based). Normally, this kind of algorithms are using DSP (Digital Signal Processor) or dedicated hardware acceleration. Our code is already optimized but we are looking into this topic in more detail and hope to optimize the performance in future updates (free of charge) even more without altering the sound quality. We suggest to first try out the performance of our Virtual Amps in free DEMO MODE on your machine (MAC or PC) to find out if it is feasible for you to work with them. After this performance check we would be very happy about the purchase of a license.

How does the Licensing of the Virtual Guitar Amps works?Each purchased license is valid for installation on up to three computers. Therefore, for each machine a dedicated Request Code must be generated out of the Virtual Amps License Dialog and sent to us. We will then reply to you with a dedicated Key File to unlock the Virtual Amp on your machine(s). Until this procedure is finished the Virtual Amp will remain in DEMO MODE, which gives you the possibility to try out the sound, performance (CPU Load) response and functionality of the software, but will open a DEMO MODE dialog box from time to time, that interrupts the user experience. After a positive performance check in DEMO MODE on your machine we would be very happy about the purchase of a license.

What is the Refund Policy?We suggest to first try out the performance of our Virtual Amps in free DEMO MODE on your machine (MAC or PC) to find out if it is feasible for you to work with them. After this performance check we would be very happy about the purchase of a license. Due to the nature of our products (intangible digital goods), it is not possible to "return a product". We thus DO NOT offer refunds or replacements after purchase. All promotional, discount and pre-order sales are final and therefore non-refundable/exchangeable. All special seasonal sales (Easter / Black Friday) are not retroactive and are only valid on the specified products within the applicable time period. Offers/coupons are not retroactive and only apply to the specified products within the valid time period. If your downloaded digital product is corrupted for reasons beyond our control, you may re-download the software at no additional cost, and if the link is disabled, we will reactivate it for you. If you have a problem with our products, a file or installation, or have any other questions, please email support at contact@gainstage.com. We will do our very best to solve the problem. If we are unable to resolve your issue and there is no way to use our software(s), we may issue a refund at our discretion and only after all exhaustive measures have been taken by our support and development teams (where applicable), and only after you successfully prove the occurrence in repro cases where the functionality was broken. Please note that if you have any issues with our product(s), you should contact us within five (5) business days of purchase. Any claim after this time will not be eligible for a refund request.
